In this section we discuss some of the terms we use at the moment. Such discussions easily lend themselves to technicalities and abstraction, so the tone in which they are written might come across as self-assured and persuasive, the tone of an instructions manual or of an academic text: do not let this fool you! Like everything else on this site, these are not definitive or truthful texts; they are generously drowsed in our own processes of identification and enjoyment (hence the term "diary"); they are speculations, provocations and little experiments that, once put to test through various practices, will reveal their errors. It is only as an indicator of our blind spots and blockages that these technical diaries are useful. It is only as a provocation to test it that any text we are proposing is worth reading.
